Guinness World Records is celebrating its annual World Records Week and Twin Galaxies has encouraged gamers to attempt their best high-scores during this time so that Twin Galaxies can verify them and send them in to Guinness World Records.

Players Invited to Submit Scores to Celebrate Special Day for Breaking World Records

 FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Every November, Guinness World Records sets aside a special day for breaking world records. This year, Guinness World Records will be monitoring many record attempts conducted throughout the world during its World Records Week (Monday - Friday, November 10-14, 2008), with Thursday of that week, November 13th, declared Guinness World Records DAY..
Twin Galaxies, recognized by Guinness World Records as its official supplier of verified video game world records, will be participating in this year's Guinness World Records Day on November 13, 2008 and invites players to submit their best high-scoring achievements for verification by our staff of highly trained video game referees.
All high-score attempts submitted during this week will be submitted to Guinness World Records for consideration in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2010.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- October 27, 2008 -- "Chuck," a popular NBC-TV television show, featured Twin Galaxies as part of its plot on Monday night, October 27, 2008.
Broadcast during the 8/7 time slot, the show depicted Jeff as being a Missile Command champion who must go back to his gaming roots to help Chuck stop a terrorist missile attack.

 LOS ANGELES, CA -- Gamers united to "Feed the Homeless" in Los Angeles during the recent "E for All" 2008 event.
Fatal1ty, Justin Wong, Todd Rogers, Billy Mitchell and TriForce threw their collective weight behind a publicized initiative to raise food donations for the hungry and homeless of America.
The challenge was thrown out for gamers everywhere to take the baton and run with it by creating similar promotions in their home areas that help feed people who cannot afford to feed themselves.
